KIMPTON MAA-LAI BANGKOK JOINS HANDS WITH PIPATCHARA FASHION BRAND TO CREATE THE “INFINITUDE” CHRISTMAS TREE

25 November 2024 until 5 January 2025

Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok has collaborated with acclaimed, emerging Thai fashion house PIPATCHARA to create The Infinitude Christmas Tree that combines luxury with sustainability, on display in the hotel lobby from 25 November 2024 until 5 January 2025. The four-meter-tall, all-white ethereal Christmas tree is entirely made with upcycled plastics in PIPATCHARA’s signature “Infinitude” pattern unveiling the first-ever PIPATCHARA Christmas Tree.

PIPATCHARA embodies sustainable lifestyle with its Infinitude items which transform upcycled materials into accessories, coveted wearable haute couture and luxe interior décor. The Infinitude Christmas Tree is made with PIPATCHARA’S signature design component – glittering, snowflake-like paillettes from recycled plastic – but this time as 10,000 newly invented oversized, sheer white pieces made from plastic fruit boxes sourced from local Thai stores. The unique installation is further enhanced by illumination from new edition Infinitude lamps. Combined they create a soaring, stunning art piece, communicating a compelling vision not just of celebration, but high-end lifestyle that is both beautiful and socially responsible.

PIPATCHARA was founded in 2018 by sisters Thapthim-Jitrinee and Petch-Pipatchara Kaeojiinda, whose passion for stylishly sustainable fashion has gained global recognition. They started their creation journey with hand-crafted macramé pieces, before evolving into the instantly recognizable Infinitude fashion and accessories line created from upcycled plastic bottle caps, plastic cups and other plastic products. Infinitude items have been proudly worn by many A-list celebrities including Lisa-Lalisa Monoban, the Thai K-pop, vocal soloist powerhouse and a member of the globally acclaimed girl group Blackpink.
