In bringing nature into our hotel lobby, our vast embroidery is an interpretation of our white floral garden. Stitch by stitch, the art piece depicts the Rossukon flower, a Thai blossom that blooms all year round. The floral silhouettes are so realistic that it almost gives the illusion that the Sukontha aroma has permeated our urban Eden.
Inspired by how nature intertwines with our very existence in the metropolis of Bangkok, this tree-like sculpture is elevated by building-like wooden blocks and like a suburban forest, ever-growing tree provides both focus and perspective.
Artfully curated with countless organic shapes, this glass sculpture mimics droplets of morning dew. The collection of drops adds a sense of freshness to the open reception area, breathing vitality into the open, airy spaces.
Beautiful and intricate, our braid-rope sculpture fashions the graceful curves of the tree of life, positioned against mother earth. This tree is an important symbol in our culture, symbolizing life, rejuvenation and healing. The interwoven ropes are curated to mirror the branches of her tree, she is the foundation, the oxygen we breathe.
Embracing the wonders of water, this braided rope sculpture pays tribute to our Thai agricultural roots. Rain is not only a blessing to our farmlands, but also nature’s way of tempering the heat during our never-ending summers.
Trees are a beautiful symbol of Mother Nature providing shelter and nutrition for many animals, and blesses us with a vantage point for rest and to inhale fresh air. Here, the tree is inverted to resemble the silhouette of the human lungs and reflect how closely akin we are with nature.
Crafted with wood on a bed of cold stones, the sculpture is made to resemble sacred eggs nestled in a nest of dark wood. The combination of earthy colors invites warmth and calm elegance into the lobby.
Made with wooden textures, the art piece is curated to resemble a burning fire clearing the past and making way for new growth to flourish. This artful landscape is one of our many attempts to weave in Mother Nature into the home of our lobby.
Inspired by the ribbons of our mighty Chao Phraya River, this piece features a layering effect that curated to mirror the long-winded river. The elevator within our hotel is like much like a longtail boat coasting through the waters of Chao Phraya River, transporting you to new and nostalgic places. The rolls of material have been chosen mirroring the history of fabric merchants who operated along Chao Phraya’s banks, all the way to Ayutthaya, the former capitol of Thailand, and once the world’s most populous city.
An expression of beauty and honor, art interpretations of the Thai hand garland are dotted in our lobby. As a symbol of respect and regard, these floral creations are often offered in religious rituals and traditional celebrations. An embodiment of our care and craft, it represents our meticulous service and heartfelt hospitality. This piece also pays homage to our flowing robes seen in our design-lead rooms.
