In bringing nature into our hotel lobby, our vast embroidery is an interpretation of our white floral garden. Stitch by stitch, the art piece depicts the Rossukon flower, a Thai blossom that blooms all year round. The floral silhouettes are so realistic that it almost gives the illusion that the Sukontha aroma has permeated our urban Eden.

Beautiful and intricate, our braid-rope sculpture fashions the graceful curves of the tree of life, positioned against mother earth. This tree is an important symbol in our culture, symbolizing life, rejuvenation and healing. The interwoven ropes are curated to mirror the branches of her tree, she is the foundation, the oxygen we breathe.

Inspired by the ribbons of our mighty Chao Phraya River, this piece features a layering effect that curated to mirror the long-winded river. The elevator within our hotel is like much like a longtail boat coasting through the waters of Chao Phraya River, transporting you to new and nostalgic places. The rolls of material have been chosen mirroring the history of fabric merchants who operated along Chao Phraya’s banks, all the way to Ayutthaya, the former capitol of Thailand, and once the world’s most populous city.

As a symbol of respect and regard, these floral creations are often offered in religious rituals and traditional celebrations. An embodiment of our care and craft, it represents our meticulous service and heartfelt hospitality. This piece also pays homage to our flowing robes seen in our design-lead rooms.
