Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok debuts a whimsical yet elegant presentation of Kimpton Mooncakes for Mid-Autumn Festival gifting. Inspired by the Asian folktale of the Moon Rabbit, this crafted wooden box is adorned with two rabbits gazing up at a softly glowing full moon – an ethereal scene with a touch of romance.
Kimpton Mooncake collection comprises four flavours, carefully crafted in collaboration with Chef Justin Tan, a renowned Singaporean chef.

Chocolate Orange Mochi – It’s a Parisian affair when the flavours of chocolate and zesty fruit unite. This combination of luscious chocolate paired with fresh orange and coffee produces a warm mocha flavour with citrus zing and enticing aroma.
Durian with Egg Yolk – This filling is the perfect pairing to showcase the king of exotic fruit. The salted egg yolk cuts the richness and density of the durian for a delicately flavoured result.
Taro Pork Floss – Taro and pork floss is a combination often seen in Taiwanese cuisine. This harmonious marriage of savoury and sweet is inspired by a popular sandwich enjoyed by Chef Tan during his eight-year tenure in Taiwan.
Pandan Mochi with Egg Yolk – This uniquely delicious filling is inspired by the kueh salat, a traditional Singaporean dessert that consists of fragrant pandan custard and steamed glutinous rice layers.
